About Parijnan Pre-University College
How It Started
In 1967-68, Pre-University classes (PUC) were started as a part of Anandashram High School, Kotekar. Subsequently the PUC curriculum was made into a 2-year course, and Parijnan Pre-University College was inaugurated in the same campus on June 1, 2005.
The College building expansion and renovation project began in 2016 to accommodate all courses in one building and was completed in a phased manner by June 2018. The new College building is U-shaped with ground + 2 floors, having well-ventilated classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, separate washrooms for girls and boys and corridors with antiskid tiles are a part of the construction and renovation which has been completed in a phased manner.
The Parijnan Pre-University College has over time acquired a sound reputation based on its consistent excellent academic results, modern facilities, and the calibre of students it produces. It currently offers Science, Commerce and Home Science streams to aspiring students.
ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Conveniently located near the Ullal Railway Station, the Parijnan Pre-University College offers 2-year Pre-University Courses in Science & Commerce. It is managed by the Saraswat Education Society (Regd), Mangaluru, an undisputed pioneer in education which has been administering Ganapathy English Medium School, Ganapathy Pre-University College at Mangaluru and Anandashram High School at Kotekar for over 100+ years and has carved a niche for itself in the field of education since 1870.
The Vision of the College is to impart value-added quality education by providing a stimulating learning atmosphere and helping young minds to evolve in terms of moral and ethical growth, emotional enrichment, intellectual gain and social power.

The College, with well-equipped laboratories and other amenities, intends to meet the increasing demand for Science and Commerce education at +2 level for the students of Someshwar and the outskirts of Mangaluru.
About Saraswat EDUCATION SOCIETY (SES)
Saraswat Education Society was formed over a 100 years ago with the primary objective of imparting quality education to children at affordable cost.
Over the past century, it has grown from running a single school to establishing and managing five institutions that have helped throw open a world of opportunities to thousands of young, talented minds by imparting quality education.
Today, the Society manages 2 Schools and 2 Pre-University level Colleges in its campuses in Kotekar-Ullal and Mangaluru, fulfilling the educational needs of students from South Karnāṭaka and North Kerala.
